If you were to sit down and try to decipher the theme of the book of Romans in just a few words, it would not take you long to see “The Righteousness of God” as the main idea the Apostle Paul was trying to convey. Over and over again, we see the words “righteous,” “righteousness,” “righteousness of God,” and much more all throughout the book. If we look at the 3rd chapter of Romans in particular, we can see this “righteousness of God” manifested in two different ways: (1) in human sinfulness, and (2) in salvation.
